Co-op Arcade

We are building a new way for people to play together. Co-op Arcade is a high-capacity, social gaming setup designed for groups of 12 to 36 people to play in the same room, at the same time.

After years in the technical world, we’ve seen how digital life often pushes us into isolated corners. We play games with friends, but we’re usually staring at a screen alone in a room.

We're building Co-op Arcade to move digital play back into shared physical spaces. We are creating a fleet of 36 custom-built gaming terminals that can be deployed anywhere—from a school gym to a local brewery—to turn it into a massive, collaborative arcade.

The goal isn't just to play a game; it's to create a setting where people have to talk, laugh, and coordinate with the person sitting right next to them.

What to Expect

We are creating a "pop-up" gaming environment that focuses on three core principles:

• Massive Collaboration: We design experiences where teamwork isn't just a feature; it’s the entire point.
• Zero Friction: Everything is built with a "30-second learning curve." We use simple, familiar controllers so anyone can join the fun immediately, regardless of their gaming background.
• Total Reliability: Our system is entirely self-contained. It uses its own wired network and does not connect to the internet. This makes it secure, private, and immune to the "lag" or connection issues that usually plague large events.

Where we are now?

The project is currently in active development right here in north suburbs of Chicago. Currently, the focus is on:

• Developing the games: Coding games from the ground up specifically for large-scale, local interaction.
• Building the fleet: Wiring and configuring the hardware terminals and the custom backbone that makes this 36-player experience possible.
• Local Testing: Running "Beta Pilots" at community hubs to ensure the hardware is stable and the social experience is seamless.

What's next?

We aren't taking bookings or selling anything just yet. We’re focused on getting the technology right and ensuring the experience is exactly where it needs to be before we head out into the field.
